Cody and Alexis were perfection. They had a chemistry that you knew meant they were in LOVE love. The kind of connection that feels effortless and natural, like they’ve known each other forever. She had said she wanted a cinematic-type vibe for her photos, which isn’t something I normally do, but it’s something I’ve been wanting to try for some time, and they were absolutely the perfect pair for it.
The weather was around 80 degrees that day, and the sun was out (rare for March!). It felt like one of those unexpected, golden days you wish you could bottle up and keep. We went to an overlook I had never been to, and it did not disappoint. The moment we arrived, it felt special, open, quiet, and full of that kind of beauty that makes you slow down and take it all in.
It was as if we had stepped straight into a scene from Wuthering Heights. The wind blew perfectly, catching her hair and dress in a way that felt almost too good to be real. There was this soft, wild energy in the air that made everything feel alive. We soaked up the sun, laughing and running around the field together, letting the moment unfold naturally in the most beautiful way.
Every part of it felt cinematic, the light, the movement, the way they looked at each other. Nothing felt forced, just genuine joy and love woven into every frame. What a lovely way to display their engagement for the first time.
